We are pleased to report on our work directing and leading global PR for Mondrian Inc.'s new Fortnite creative map, "YOKAI BOX PVP."
Project Overview
"YOKAI BOX PVP" is a battle game themed around traditional Japanese yokai (supernatural creatures). It features 12 types of yokai, including Kuchisake-onna (Slit-Mouthed Woman) and Noppera-bō (Faceless Ghost), with voice acting by renowned voice actors Mari Takahashi and Mitsuaki Aizawa. Launched on the Fortnite platform, which boasts over 500 million users worldwide, this ambitious project brought Japanese yokai culture to a global audience.

- Developing a distribution strategy targeting international media
- Result: Featured on over 300 international media websites
Project Outcomes
This title attracted attention as a new approach to incorporating voice-acted content into Fortnite creative maps. In particular, by leveraging strong international interest in Japanese pop culture, we achieved extensive media coverage overseas.
